- Aragorn, son of Arathorn, Heir of Isildur, is born.
- T.A. 3019:
- Frodo, Sam and Gollum begin the passage of the Dead Marshes at dawn. They temporarily halt and hide for a flying Nazgûl.
- The Entmoot, which started on February 30, continues.
- Aragorn enter Fangorn and meets Gandalf the White, and forgets to celebrate his 88th birthday. They set out for Edoras.
