1944 - J.R.R. Tolkien writes Letter 88.
1958 - C. S. Lewis writes a letter to J.R.R. Tolkien.
1966 - J.R.R. Tolkien writes Letter 290.
1971 - J.R.R. Tolkien writes a letter to Joy Hill.
1988 - The Annotated Hobbit is published.
2006 - Author J.E.A. Tyler dies.

- Tuor, guided by Voronwë, travels to Gondolin in order to deliver Ulmo's message to Turgon.
