A Middle English Vocabulary is a glossary compiled by J.R.R. Tolkien for Fourteenth Century Verse and Prose (1921), a collection of Middle English texts, edited by Kenneth Sisam, formerly tutor of Tolkien. The glossary was first published in May 1922 as a separate volume and later together with Sisam's collection.
