Beregond, Anders Stenström (b. 1957) is a Swedish Tolkien scholar.

Since 1967, Stenström has been an enthusiast of Tolkien, and since 1976, when he became a member of the Tolkien Society Forodrim, he carries the byname Beregond.

Beregond has researched different aspects of the works of Tolkien (among his contributions can be found suggestions on principles for structural references), published several articles, and been a speaker at and organizer of conferences and conventions. Together with Kristina Valinger, Beregond was responsible for the creation of the Swedish subtitles for Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings. He was consulted for Erik Andersson's new Swedish translation of The Lord of the Rings.

He is currently one of the organizers of Omentielva, the International Conference on J.R.R. Tolkien's Invented Languages, a series of biennial conferences at changing locations. He is also editor of Arda and Arda Philology.

Stenström lives in Alby, Botkyrka within the Stockholm urban area and works as a verger.
