Anglachel

Anglachel or 'Iron of the Flaming Star', was the sword forged by Eöl the Dark Elf and borne by Beleg of Doriath. Elu Thingol declared that there was malice in the blade, but Beleg decided to bear it in spite of that fact. When rescuing Túrin Turambar it slew Beleg. It was later reforged as Túrin's black sword, Gurthang.
