Arador (S, pron. [ˈarador]; T.A. 2820[1] - 2930,[2] died aged 110) was the fourteenth Chieftain of the Dúnedain
History
Arador succeeded his father, Argonui, when he died in 2912.[2]
His rule was uneventful except for the fact he was captured and killed by Hill-trolls north of Rivendell.[3] He was followed by his young son, Arathorn II, in 2930.[2]
Etymology
Arador's name is Sindarin and means "Royal Lord" coming form the prefix ara meaning "royal", and dor (a form taur) meaning "lord".
