Araglas (T.A. 2296[1] - 2455,[2] died aged 159) was the sixth Chieftain of the Dúnedain.
History
Araglas was the son of Chieftain Aragorn I, who was killed by wolves in 2327. Araglas' own rule was uneventful. He ruled for 128 years until he died in 2455 and was followed by his son, Arahad I.[2]
Etymology
Araglas's name is Sindarin. It presumably means "Royal Joy", coming from the prefix ara-, "king", and glass, "joy".
