Arantar (Third Age 185 – 445, aged 260 years) was the fifth King of Arnor, ruling 106 years, from 339 until his death. He ascended the throne of Arnor on the death of his father Eldacar. Arantar was the great-grandson of Isildur, last High King of both Gondor and Arnor.
His reign was without any event. He was succeeded by his son Tarcil.
