Azaghâl was the king of the Broadbeam Dwarves of Belegost during the First Age. He was slain by the dragon Glaurung after stabbing him with a dagger in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad ("Battle of Unnumbered Tears"). The Dragon-helm of Dor-lómin was originally made for him by Telchar.
