Caliondo (Q, pron. [ˌkaliˈondo]) was a Númenórean of royal blood, and was the son of Eärendur, who was the younger son of King Tar-Amandil. He himself had one son, Malantur. Almost nothing is known of his life.[1]
Etymology
Caliondo appears to be a longer form of the name Calion (cf. Tar-Calion), which means "Son of Light" in Quenya.
