The name refers to an Asian plant. It is named after George Joseph Kamel, who brought the plant from Japan.

Camellia Sackville was a Hobbit of the Shire.

History

Camellia was daughter of the head of the Sackville Family. She married Longo Baggins, and had one son, Otho.[1] The double surname Sackville-Baggins was bestowed on her son, after the death of Camellia's father, as he was the eldest grandson, and became the new head.[2]
