Elentári (Quenya, pronounced [ˌelenˈtaːri]) was a title of Varda, meaning "Queen of the Stars".[1] It was one of the titles of Varda that Galadriel sang in her lament "Namárië" as the Fellowship of the Ring departed from Lothlórien.[2]

Etymology

The name is composed of elen ("star") + tári ("queen").[3]
