Elfhelm was a lord of Rohan and later Marshal of the East-mark. He fought with Grimbold in the Second Battle of the Fords of Isen after the loss of Théodred. He also lead an Éoreds in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. After the battle, he lead three-thousand Rohirrim up towards the Drúadan Forest to destroy the last hosts left of Mordor's force that sieged Minas Tirith, who were blocking the road North.
