The Greek Tolkien Society (Σύλλογος Ελλήνων Φίλων Τόλκιν) The Prancing Pony is a Tolkien Society based in Greece.
It started as a semi-professional website intended to promote Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings and hosted a forum, which evolved to a full-functioned society in 2002.
The society is unofficially divided into two "smials", one in Athens and one in Thessaloniki and northern Greece.
