Elphir was the twenty-third Prince of Dol Amroth.
History
Elphir was the oldest son of the four children of Imrahil. He was born in T.A. 2987, and was already a man by the time of the War of the Ring, but no feat of his was recorded. He had two brothers, Erchirion and Amrothos, and a sister, Lothíriel.
After his death in Fo.A. 57, he was succeeded by his son Alphros.[1]
Etymology
Elphir seems to mean "Swan-lord", from Sindarin alph ("swan") and hîr ("lord").
