Fastred of Greenholm was a Hobbit of the Shire.
History
Fastred married Elanor Gardner in Fo.A. 31. Together they had a son, Elfstan,[1] and a daughter Fíriel.[2]
He was made Warden of Westmarch in Fo.A. 35 by Thain Peregrin Took, and he relocated to the Undertowers with his family.[1]
Etymology
Fastred in Old English means "fast-rede, firm-counsel".[3]
