First Age 510 (abbreviated to F.A. 510) is the 510th year of the Sun of the First Age of Middle-earth.
Notable events in this year include:
Midsummer
- The Fall of Gondolin: Morgoth attacks Gondolin with an army of orcs, dragons, wolves and balrogs.[1][2]
- Ecthelion dies killing Gothmog, Lord of Balrogs. Glorfindel dies killing a balrog.[1]
- Deaths of Turgon, Penlod, Duilin, Rog, Orcobal, Balcmeg, Othrod and Lug.[3]
- Maeglin takes Idril and Eärendil. Tuor kills Maeglin.[1]
- Idril and Tuor lead a group of survivors out a secret tunnel and across the Cirith Thoronath. They lead the people towards the Mouths of Sirion.[1]
- Gil-galad becomes High King of the Noldor.[1]
