Mid-year's Day
- Samwise Gamgee is elected Mayor of Michel Delving for the fourth time (S.R. 1469).[1]
Note
In the reckoning Gondor, Fourth Age years began on the first day of the month of Víressë, which corresponded to 25 March in the Shire Calendar.[2] Since mayoral elections in the Shire occurred on Mid-year's Day after 25 March, Sam's re-election as mayor is definitely in Fourth Age 49.
