Frodo Gardner was the second child and eldest son of Samwise Gamgee and Rose Cotton.[2] In Sindarin, the name Frodo is Iorhael.[3]
History
Frodo was named after his father's best friend, Frodo Baggins. It was always his intention to name one of his children after Frodo. Though the first child was a girl, the second became Frodo.[1]
Frodo became the head of Gardner Family and inherited Bag End. His son was Holfast Gardner.[2]
