History

Gárulf was a rider in the Éored of Éomer, Third Marshal of the Riddermark. He was killed by Uruk-hai under the eaves of Fangorn Forest when Éomer and his men attacked and slaughtered the Uruks of Uglúk. His horse Hasufel was given to Aragorn by Éomer when they first met in the Wold.[1]

Etymology
