The Great Goblin by John Howe

The Great Goblin (late Third Age) was the chief of the Goblins who dwelt in Goblin-town beneath the High Pass in the Misty Mountains. His warriors captured Thorin and Company during the Quest of Erebor, and he was killed by Gandalf, who stabbed him with the blade Glamdring.[1]

The Great Goblin was never given a formal name by Tolkien.
