Hísimë, following Narquelië, and preceding the last month, Ringarë is the eleventh month of the year, according to the Kings and Stewards' Reckoning of Gondor, and the eighth month according to the New Reckoning. On a modern calendar, Hísimë would run between 22 October and 20 November.[1]

Among the Dúnedain it was named in Sindarin Hithui.
