Hild was a noble woman of Rohan.
History
Hild was the daughter of King Gram, and sister of Helm Hammerhand. Her son Fréaláf took the crown after the death of Helm and his two sons.[1]
Etymology
Hild is a poetic word in Old English for "battle".
