Hiril (born circa F.A. 423) was the younger daughter of Halmir, third Halad or warden of the Haladin. She was the sister of Haldir, Hareth, and Hundar. She was married to Enthor and she bore him a daughter Meleth.[1]

Etymology
Hiril means "lady" in Sindarin (Hîr + -il).
Other Versions of the Legendarium
In an earlier version Hiril was the daughter of Barahir and Emeldir, and the younger sister of Beren, but this was later dropped.[2]
