Holfast Gardner was a Hobbit of the Shire.

Holfast was the son of Frodo Gardner and became the head of the Gardner Family. He was the father of Harding of the Hill.[1]
He probably lived in Bag End.[2]
Etymology[edit | edit source]
Old English holfæst means "hole-firm" or "hole dweller".[3]
