The House of Durin was the line of the descendants of Durin the Deathless, eldest of the seven Fathers of the Dwarves. The kingship of the line continued even when those with the title were in exile.[1]
The Family Tree of the House of Durin
Showing the descendants of Durin. All information in the tree is from The Lord of the Rings, Appendix A, "Durin’s Folk"[1] unless otherwise specified. The figures after the names are those of birth and death where recorded (when only one figure is shown it is the date of birth). A dagger symbol, '†' signifies those who did not die of old age. A name preceded by '*' indicates one of the Kings of Durin's Folk; an italicized name denotes one of the companions of Thorin on the quest of Erebor. A dashed line indicates a line of descent with some members missing.
