Inzilbêth was a queen (though not a Ruling Queen) of Númenor. She was the daughter of Lindórië, the niece of Eärendur, fifteenth Lord of Andúnië, and a descendant of Tar-Calmacil. Though she was taken to wife by Ar-Gimilzôr, Inzilbêth was secretly a member of the Faithful, whom her husband strongly opposed. Her elder son Inziladûn, who would take the royal title of Tar-Palantir, followed her teachings rather than his father's when he became King of Númenor. Her younger son would follow in the footsteps of his father.[1]
