Isembold Took was a Hobbit of the Shire.
History[edit | edit source]
Isembold was the fifth child of Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb. He had many descendants, and died in S.R. 1346.[1]
Etymology[edit | edit source]
The name contains isen "iron" and bold "bold".[2]
