Isengrim is a name born by three Thains of the Shire, all from the Took Family:
- Isengrim Took I, one of the eight unnamed Thains of the Took line, who reigned sometime between S.R. 740 and S.R. 1083.
- Isengrim Took II (S.R. 1020 - S.R. 1122), twenty-second Thain of the Shire who begins the excavation of Great Smials.
- Isengrim Took III (S.R. 1232 - S.R. 1330), eldest son of the Old Took and twenty-seventh Thain of the Shire.
