Isumbras Took I

Isumbras Took was the thirteenth Thain of the Shire, and the first of the Took line. Isumbras I was a distant ancestor of Peregrin Took of the Company of the Ring.

Etymology

The name contains isen "iron" and bras "arm".[1]
