Letter to George Burke Johnston

On 24 May 1968, J.R.R. Tolkien wrote a letter to George Burke Johnston.[1]
- Contents: Burke Johnston had sent a "specially printed, specially bound copy of" his booklet The Poetry of J.R.R. Tolkien to Tolkien, who responded with a thank you note and explained that in his youth "root" was used as "boot" is now, i.e. slang for "kick".[2] Tolkien also wrote that he will be moving from Oxford soon.[1]
