Erebor was the dwarf-realm to the north under the shadow of the Lonely Mountain, and the dwarf-kingdom founded by Thráin I after the loss of Khazad-dûm. The kingdom was destroyed by the dragon Smaug, but was refounded by Thráin's descendant Thorin II Oakenshield, and ruled by Dain II Ironfoot. 36848097360412356376106
