Lord of Belegost was a title for one who ruled over the Dwarven city of Belegost. He was probably descended by one of the Seven Fathers of the Dwarves. An heirloom of the Lords of Belegost had been the pearl Nimphelos given by Thingol.[1]

The only known Lord of Belegost was Azaghâl.[2]

In The Book of Lost Tales, Bodruith was the Lord of the Dwarves of Belegost[3] during the Battle of the Thousand Caves against Menegroth. He was later slain by Ufedhin, an Elf of Artanor, after attempting to kill and steal the Nauglafring from him out of greed.
