A wraith, the Witch-king of Angmar was nearly indestructible, a terrible warrior, and a cunning strategist. As predicted by Glorfindel he fell by the hand of a woman, Éowyn, in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields and his death marked the beginning of Sauron's downfall.
