mi is a Quenya word meaning "in", "within" or "among".

Examples

  • mi oromardi lissë-miruvóreva = "of the sweet mead in lofty halls"[1]
  • aina wendë mi wenderon = "Holy Virgin of virgins"[2]
  • aistana elyë imíca nísi = "blessed art thou amongst women"[3]
  • Alcar mi Tarmenel na Erun ar mi cemen raine i hínin = "Glory [be] to God in the Highest, and peace to His people on earth".[4]
