Of Men is the twelfth chapter of the Quenta Silmarillion section within The Silmarillion.
Synopsis
The Awakening of Men, happened with the first rising of the Sun. They were the Secondborn Children of Ilúvatar. The nature of the Elves to Men are compared, and mentions Men's inevitable takeover of the dominion over Middle-earth from the Elder Children of Ilúvatar.
