Othrod was a "lord of the Orcs" slain by Tuor during the Fall of Gondolin.[1]
He only appears in Tolkien's early "The Fall of Gondolin".
Etymology
Othrod is clarily Gnomish, but it is not glossed. The Qenya cognate was Osorot.[2]
