Otto Preminger

Famed actor and Oscar-nominated director Otto Preminger (1906 – 1986) was the voice for the "Elvenking" (Thranduil) in the Rankin/Bass animated version of The Hobbit. He was born and raised in Austria, and his thick accent is very apparent in the film.
