Pervinca Took was a Hobbit of the Shire.

History[edit | edit source]

Pervinca was the third child and youngest daughter of Thain Paladin Took II and Eglantine Banks, and elder sister to Peregrin Took.

In T.A. 3001 she was a guest at Bilbo's Farewell Party.[1]

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Pervinca refers to periwinkle, trailing or erect evergreen plants such as the European creeper.[2]

Portrayal in adaptations[edit | edit source]

2007: The Lord of the Rings Online:

Pervinca is found at the Great Smials in Tuckborough. She is tired of her relative Adelard Took's lessons on family history, and helps her cousins Isembard and Imbert to play tricks on him.
