---|
Poems Early Abandoned is the second chapter of The Lays of Beleriand. During his time at the University of Leeds (1920-1925), Tolkien embarked on five poetic works concerned as part of his mythology, but only the Lay of Leithian and the Lay of the Children of Húrin were more than just beginnings.[1] This chapter treats in turn those abandoned poems.
