rië or (ríe) is Quenya for "crown, garland".[1][2][3]

Etymology[edit | edit source]

In the manuscript "Eldarin Roots and Stem", Quenya rië derives from root RIG.[1] In the Etymologies, Quenya ríe is a descendant form of Primitive Quendian rīgē, deriving from root RIG.[2][3]
