Rowlie Appledore

Rowlie Appledore was a man of Bree and member of the Appledore Family. He was killed during the War of the Ring fighting Bill Ferny and his ruffians.

Etymology

Rowlie is diminutive of Rowland, from hrod "fame" + land[1].
