Second Age 3429 (abbreviated to S.A. 3429) is the 3429th year of the Sun of the Second Age of Middle-earth.
Notable events in this year include:
- Sauron attacks Gondor, takes Minas Ithil and burns the White Tree.[1]
- Isildur escapes down Anduin and goes to Elendil in the North,[1] bearing a seedling of the White Tree.[2]
- Anárion defends Minas Anor and Osgiliath.[1]
