Talk:878 AD

Not sure I agree with having fictional events on our real-world date articles. What do others think? -- KingAragorn  talk  contribs  edits  email  16:17, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Then place them in a different category from the real-world articles. Besides, 878 AD isn't really close to any other real-world time frame on this site. However, the Notion Club Papers' dates could cause a little problem. Woolly Mammoth 16:23, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Agree with KA. Aside from the "AD" in the article title, this will create mess that will be difficult to untangle; I'm also not sure how many people are going to come to Tolkien Gateway and search for "878 AD". I think in this instance Wikipedia is a better place to send readers. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 17:30, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Alright, delete them. Woolly Mammoth 19:11, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
...almost 9 years later and we should perhaps now delete this irrelevant article, along with 869 AD? --JR Snow (talk) 16:02, 27 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I agree with above comments about fictional events on real world date articles but I think there is some value in having these pages so maybe it could be moved. Just my opinion though
