Location

That map shows Angband right north to Barad Eithel. Though there's no map on which Tolkien shows the position of Angband, it is pretty clear that, based on the elaboration Karen Wynn Fonstad did on this topic, Angband lay further east, approximately in direct line north of Menegroth. --Thalion 12:49, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

I don't know enough - off the top of my head - about this topic to make a judgement on the location of Angband either way. But, I would remove this image anyway as it's ugly and stolen from EOA. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 18:57, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

Since the location of Angband is not certain, and has been a matter of discussion, I would suggest that we have a section entitled "Location" which presents some different theories (and I agree with Mith about removing the current image).--Morgan 18:59, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
