This could use as bit of an fixer-upper. The article doesn't have a template, and it needs a some more detail. Oh, and the fact that there are uneeded quotes from the movie on there as well. --Dwarf Lord 13:31, 12 October 2006 (EDT)

Where, exactly, do the books say that the force was at least ten thousand? The movies said so, but as far as I know the only reference to size is where the scout says to Théoden the following:

"Is it known how great is the host that comes from the North?' [asked Théoden] 'It is very great,' said the scout. 'He that flies counts every foeman twice, yet I have spoken to stouthearted men, and I do not doubt that the main strength of the enemy is many times as great as all that we have here."
The Lord of the Rings, Helm's Deep

Just wondering before I changed it back. --Narfil Palùrfalas 20:42, 18 October 2006 (EDT)

I saw it somewhere in the chapter the chapter Helm's Deep, but I don't remember which page. If I wouldn't have seen it I, wouldn't have put on there that there were 10,000. Dwarf Lord
