The article describes three survivors of the ambush, but I only count two. --Ted C 11:23, 7 November 2006 (EST)

"one of them was Isildur's squire Ohtar, who along with his companion brought the shards of Narsil to Rivendell."
I think the second one is the "companion" of the squire. --Hyarion 11:36, 7 November 2006 (EST)
The third survivor was Estelmo,he was Elendur's esquire.you can find this information in the Unfinished Tales.

Well, I think Ted along with myself were confused by the part in the article which states "first...third" and never that the squire's companion was the second. We should probably change it. --Hyarion 13:20, 7 November 2006 (EST)

Shouldn't this be called "Disaster of the Gladden Fields"? That's what the chapter in Unfinished Tales is called, and all descriptions point towards this being more of a massacre than a straight-up battle. EldritchNexus 12:41, 12 October 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I agree, I have made the relevant changes to this article and others. --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 13:27, 12 October 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
