:I wouldn't call it "capital". The name only appears in Baynes' map but the fortress is mentioned in ''Unfinished Tales'': "Messengers still passed between Gondor and the Éothéod after their departure; but it was some four hundred and fifty of our miles between the confluence of Greylin and Langwell (where was their only fortified ''burg'')". – So, all we really know is that it was "their only fortified ''burg''", what it ever means. I wouldn't call it "capital". The name only appears in Baynes' map but the fortress is mentioned in Unfinished Tales: "Messengers still passed between Gondor and the Éothéod after their departure; but it was some four hundred and fifty of our miles between the confluence of Greylin and Langwell (where was their only fortified burg)". – So, all we really know is that it was "their only fortified burg", what it ever means.
