It may be a matter of some interest that Frodo never actually killed anything in the course of the Lord of the Rings. He did, however, stand up to fight against some formidable adversaries. He foolishly attempted to fight the Nazgul at Weathertop, and he stabbed a troll in the foot in Moria to keep it from forcing open a door.

Frodo was wounded several times in the Lord of the Rings. The first came when he tried to fight the Nazgul at Weathertop and was stabbed with a Morgul blade. He was later knocked out by an orc's thrown spear in Moria, but the mithril armor Bilbo had given him saved his life. He was poisoned by Shelob in the pass of Cirith Ungol and later questioned by orcs in the tower. Finally, Gollum bit of his finger to obtain the ring as they struggled inside Mount Doom.

So are you saying this information should be included in the article? Whether you are or not, I think it should. All the articles on the four hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin) are terribly inadequate. I should do some work on them (I have done some on Merry, but didn't finish), though I prefer to work on articles concerning the First Age and elvish tongues. . . Earendilyon might be willing. . . Anyway, I'll try and get to them soon. --Narfil Palùrfalas 18:08, 10 October 2006 (EDT)
That was the general idea, but I like to let the original author know before I start editing the page. --Ted C 10:26, 11 October 2006 (EDT)
