- No, Gróin is Gimli's grandfather as shown in the genealogy of the Dwarves of Erebor in Appendix B. Although there is always debate about the pronunciation of dwarven names, it's likely it's actually pronounced like "Glo-in". — Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 06:38, 20 January 2007 (EST)
